ABOUT THE ORCHARD
With the Pool House Pavilion in place, Bunny’s attention turned to the hill sloping down from it — part of an old adjacent field that had originally belonged to the property. After consulting with a local nursery, she welcomed a group of mature apple trees, planted in graceful rows along the hillside.
AWAKENING IN SPRING
Each spring, when they come into full bloom, the effect is truly majestic. Cherry and peach trees have been added over time, and Queen Anne’s lace now drifts through the field in between. A mown path winds up through the orchard, drawing you naturally toward the Pool House above.
